Find the right class, time and instructor.
Whether you’re just beginning your practice of yoga or you are an expert, you’ll find the right class.
Beginner Yoga (Level 1):
This class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work and a flow of postures that are linked together by the breath. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety and stability within each pose. If you are new to yoga and want to learn alignment this is the class for you.
Restorative Flow Yoga:
This moderately paced class begins with Sun Salutations and standing poses to warm up the body. The balance of the class is devoted to deep stretches that are held longer and restorative postures. You will leave feeling calm, balanced and renewed!
Learn to transform physical, mental and emotional blocks and create aliveness and empowerment on and off the mat. Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility. The practice is founded on four pillars — Breath, Strength, Integrity and Spirit.
This class offers a flowing, dynamic yoga practice that cultivates presence by connecting movement with breath. Most classes feature several elements of traditional sun salutations, standing poses, preparation for arm balances, dynamic stretching, and breath work. This practice will build strength, aid balance and weight loss, while reducing stress.
Core Strength Vinyasa (CSV) Yoga:
CSV Yoga requires students to fully activate their Deep Core Muscle Meridian, their innermost muscle body, along with the more commonly used outer one. The signature practices build. You’ll work smarter, not harder, and therefore transform both inner and outer body fitness more quickly.
A class structured to include yoga based flow sequences, body weight exercises, resistance training with hand held weights, cardiovascular drills and core focused training. This is a quick flowing class with an all-body workout. Some yoga experience recommended.
Improve your strength, flexibility, and mobility through standing or seated yoga poses specially adapted for older adults or those recovering from an injury. Chairs and props are provided to keep everyone safe and supported. (No floor/mat work)
